folder thumbnails

I downloaded some third party viewing software and have
removed them. Now I cannot see the thumnails in any folder
lder as I previously could. The files just have icons. I
can still see view in the preview pane but I wish to get
the thumbnails back because it makes it easy to pick a
file rather than using the preview pane. Can anyone help
please?

I have this same problem after installing Adobe Photoshop
7.01. Is there a way to get this view back?
