In the old Windows Explorer it used to show you at the bottom of the page,
the total size of all the files in a folder
or drive ... Windows XP Home doesn't seem to do this. Is there anyway to
make it show me the aggregate total for any particular folder or drive?

Thanks ... Michael Mauzey

From Explorer, View, click on Status Bar.

Its View, click Status bar so it is checked. To get size of content of
a folder though you need to either take its Properties on a right click,
or have the Tools - Folder Options - View set to 'show popup
descriptions for . . . .' when a popup balloon will display if you hover
the mouse over one for a few seconds
