Folder Sharing

I have a number of users on one computer accessing shared folders on another
computer on my home network - but one particular user I cannot get to access
sahred folders on the other computer - but all the other users can. I notice
for this same user, when I go into My Computer, it is very slow to open up -
you see the flashlight icon for several minutes. I tried deleting the user
account and the re-creating it but no better. Any assistance?
