Folder Settings

Hi,

Despite of having checked the Folder Options | View | Remember Each Folder's
Settings in the Windows Explorer, my setting randomly change so some times I
see Control Panel is shown with Tiles and some times with Details view. This
happens with other folders in Windows Explorer as well.
Any suggestions, please.

Hi John,

WindowsXP will remember the settings of up to 400 folders, after that it
starts forgetting some. See this from MVP Kelly for a way to increase this
number:

Line 2, increase the folder view size limit to 8000
