Folder Redirection

Try as I may, I can't seem to redirect users My Documents folder to another
location using a GPO. In the GPO I go to User Configuration, Windows Setting,
Folder Redirection, My Documents and right click it then select properties.
In the properties target tab I pick setting-basic, then the path I use is
\\MYserver\users\%username% for the path to the redirected folder for each
user. It does not redirect the folder. The Users share has the proper
permissions and I even tried sharing each users home folder to no avail. I've
been working on this for three days. I need help. I have a win 2k network
with 1 DC and about 50 win2k and xp w/s's. Any help will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would use gpresults to confirm that the policy is actually applying before
troubleshooting the policy too much.

Are the folders being created when the user logs on?
Is the policy linked to the OU or container where the user accounts reside.
If you remove say help from the start menu and logon with a user does that
take effect?

As a more indepth troubleshooting you can enable userenv logging.
