Folder Redirect issues over Frame Relay

The client I am working with has several remote sites we have recently
connected to the home office over Frame Relay. For our local users, we have
had no problem with My Docs being redirected to a network share. None of our
remote users are successfully redirecting, however. Strangely, running
gpresult, some of them are showing redirect, some aren't. I have not seen any
errors relating to this in the event logs. The policy shows that it should be
forcing \\servername\sharename$\ as the root location, and creating a
directory using the username. When checking the properties of My Documents on
the local machine, the buttons are still available to "find target" etc.
Remote users are successfully receiving mapped drives, etc. Each remote site
is on a different subnet. Thanks for any insight.

Is it possible to put a DC in each site? I think the problem you're
encountering is it is detecting the frame relay link as a Slow Link, and not
applying something that would 'hamper' the user's 'experience'. If you have
a dc (they could be as dinky as a workstation) in each site, authentication
shouldn't be detected as slow, and the redirect to the server at hq should
happen.... I would think.
