Hi All,

I created several desktop folders and they are expanded in a certain
position. But in most cases after a while if I close them and re-open them
they do not return to the same position. What can be done to make sure that
they will return to the same position in the desktop area?

Thanks,

Doron

It's a limitation of Windows itself. It saves/retains only 400 folder
views. Once that is reached, older folders in the table "Roll-Off",
so you loose those settings.
Download Tweak-UI for Windows XP. It's basically a graphical
interface for changing Registry Keys (BagMRU Size).
Run Tweak-UI, expand (Click +) besides Explorer. You'll see a
item in the Right Pane "Customizations" click that and change the
value to something in the range of 8000.

Just to add that TweakUI alters "Bag MRU Size" rather than BagMRU Size.

This fix should help!

Thanks Ramesh,

I completely forgot about that naming error with Tweak-UI.
Guess I need another Post-It note on the side of my monitor.
