Folder Options

In Control Panel, Folder Options, View tab, there is the option to apply the
setting of all folders to that of the control panel. I like the details
option. But the button marked "Apply to all folders" is grayed out. Why is
this, and how can I set all folders to the details view?

Thanks, it worked.

Instead of opening Folder Options through Control Panel, open it in My
Computer. Double-click on My Computer - Open any Folder - set the View you
click for every folder then click Tools - Folder Options - View - click
Apply
to All Folders.
