folder locked to all accounts, even Admin

The folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents is locked on my
compter to all accounts, even the Admin. I have XP SP2. Because of this
problem, I can't re-install Adobe Acrobat because the installer can't create
or change the folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF.

I've run through the same problem on a laptop of mine, except my entire
My Documents locked down on me, and as an alternative I tried plugging
the laptop harddrive as a secondary into a desktop, with no success,
the folder was still locked down...


Therefore, the only thing I was able to do was either create a new
account, or re-install windows, which I did.

That's my story, and I hope it helps you in your attempts to solve the
issue.

Thanks for the help. That initially worked, but I still couldn't install
Acrobat. I found this on Adobe's site and it worked.

I used the cacls option.
