Folder List out of Order

After our Exchange migration, some users are reporting that their mailbox is
not at the top of the folder list within outlook. Actually, public folders
and personal folders are at the top and their mailbox has moved to the
bottom. Any ideas on how to get the mailbox back on the top of the list?

Thanks!

BJ,

I saw you had the same problem as another poster (Nick), so I thought I
would post the same response here that I did for him to make sure you got it.
I think I have an answer but can't guarrantee it. We ran in to the same
problem where I work and this is what we did. As you know, the Folder List
is suppose to be listed alphabetical however Exchange mailboxes always appear
as…

Mailbox - <DisplayName>

Chances are that this got modified, so to change it, do the following….

1) In the Folder List view pane, right click on the top of the mailbox where
it says “Outlook Today…†and select properties
2) One would think that you could rename it to “Mailbox - <DisplayName>â€
here but you can’t!!! So instead copy what is currently in there to the
clipboard. Chances are it isn’t in the same order / syntax as what I
described above.
3) With the mailbox name in memory, open RegEdit.
4) Within Regedit, select EDIT -> FIND.
5) Paste the value in there and search the entire registry. It should find
a string value.
6) Edit the String Value so that it reads “Mailbox - <DisplayName>
7) Close all of Outlook and restart it. This should fix it.
