I know Vista allows you to customise a folder so that all subfolders show
the same set of details in the Explorer view.
Is there a way to make all subfolders within a folder use a user-defined
folder icon?
Only I like all subfolders in my music folder (which is actually a disk
partition) to show a music-related icon, rather than the default folder
icon - and would prefer not have to set each one manually by hand.
And if there is no native way via folder properties (as appears to be the
case) to set all subfolders within a given folder (or drive partition, as
in my case) is there another way to configure Vista so that it displays a
specific folder icon for all subfolders?
I am thinking that perhaps it might be possible to do this by writing a
command script - can someone confirm - and if possible provide a link to a
knowledge base article or something like that which would tell me how to do
this?
Or does anyone know of a third party application that would do this?
All help offered gratefully received.
