Compare contents ... synchronisations to make sure contents are the same in
each folder.

SyncBack does this but doesn't check against md5 sums as far as I can see or
does it?

Y'know;

I don't know that I've come across any compare/sync proggies that check
against md5's. Interesting. Fwiw, Comparator is a good two-step proggy
for automatically comparing and, optionally, synchronizing.

Unison is a great synchronizer: abandonware but amazing small footprint
and /very/ stable.
