Folder cannot be deleted

I have a folder on my Win 2000 Pro machine that I cannot delete, even as
administrator. I played around with the security settings of the folder to
deny access to it for other LAN users, but have since restored all security
settings back to what looks like normal. I still cannot delete it from
within Windows - only from DOS. I am shown as the owner of the folder and
everyone has full permissions in the (now empty) folder. What am I doing
wrong?

Hi Tony. See the KB article in link below with information on how to deal
with that situation. A problem folder could indicate that your computer has
been hacked, so be sure to do a virus scan on it also with up to date
definitions. --- Steve
