Folder access

I am splitting a database and need to know if I have full access on the NTFS
and the share itself as I cannot add a record or edit a record from the
front-end on my machine.

Can someone tell me how to check this.
 
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to where you see the folder in the window.
Right click on the folder, select properties, and select the Security tab.
All the permissions information is there.
