Folde Size - Visual Representation?

Greetings,
I'm using Windows XP and have an external drive for data backup purposes.
The external drive is just my old Windows 2000, 40Gig drive and retains all
my files from that computer (including operating system). I use it primarily
to back up my work files in case of a system crash.

I recently received a gig or so of new files on the main system and went to
use SyncToy to back them up... but ran out of disk space on the backup
drive.

My working folder is largest user of space on my system (15 of the 40 gig)
and most of those are zip files.

That means I've managed to aquire 25 Gig worth of files over the last few
years and while that may not sound like much to some, for me it's a LOT. So
I started trying to locate the areas in which I have saved the most
information and I find that the usual folder information is somewhat clunky.
I open a folder, right click on each sub-folder and check the properties to
find the sizes.

Is there a tool that will allow me to see the folder size of all the folders
in a directory? Or to look through my system and show the folders with the
most information?

I've done some searching on-line, but may not be using effective search
words, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Shane

A good and free tool that gives you this type of visual representation is
WinDirStat from http://windirstat.info/.
