Flying Alerts

Greg

I have found that im having the most dificult time seeing
the alerts as they fly up from the bottom of screen and
strait off the top of screen, iv had to take a screen shot
just to read them, most r asking whether or not i want to
give my permistion to a script file, alow changes to my IE
security settings etc. but i cant even read them let alone
press on any buttons or tick/untick boxes.
I just put up with it 4 2 weeks thinking what is
microsoft up 2 making such untested software, i mean
somone must have noticed i`d have thourght.
Then i found the problem, the alert boxes were
looking 4 the taskbar to stop at and sine i have my
taskbar on the left hand side they were just going right
off the top off the screen. well ok so i sused it but i
always used my bar on that side and dont want 2 move it
but would like to interact with the alerts, so how do i
fix this problem.

Thx all Greg.

Some folks have found that the Alt-tab powertoy for XP from Microsoft allows
them to get to the alerts, but the simplest workaround is to change your
toolbar position, I'm afraid. See if you can stick it out for another
couple of months--they'll need to distribute a refresh of some sort, and
perhaps they'll fix this one--although I'm not too hopeful.
