flowing from slide to slide

I am creating a photo presentation for a benefit and I am trying to figure
out if there is a way to have the pictures (or slides) to "flow" nicely after
each other. Right now there just stopping then the next one appears. Even
after the fade in and fade out there's a delay. Photo story does the
transition nicely but there are some things I can't do with photo story that
I can with ppt. Any help will be very much appreciated. Also, do I need to
set timings or will it just start and flow automatically?

You should be able to control this with the Slide Show/Slide
Transition effect. For example, select Fade Smoothly, with a Slow
Speed, an Advance Slide timing to suit and click on the Apply to all
Slides button to apply.

All of the Custom Automations applied to individual objects will need
to be removed, if there are any, for this to work correctly.

Have a look at our free add in here which uses zoom in and out animations.
Maybe it will help. We also have a tutorial on exactly how to do this if you
cannot work it out (not quite free).
