Floppy Shortcut on Taskbar

Ooops ! dropped floppy shortcut on taskbar instead of quick launchbar, its
happly loafing, not working, towards the clock end of the task bar, but still
in the dark blue area.
How do I remove it?

Drag it off.
 
No ! it won't move from its new found home on the taskbar, its text only, "3
1/2 Floppy (A:)", not the normal icon, it really is impossible to put it
there, but some how it went there, and now doesn't want to leave!

Right click the Toolbar. Select "Toolbars." UNcheck the one that
says "Floppy (A:).

Brilliant ! that did the trick, simple when you know how, and I thought I
would have to put up with it sitting on my taskbar forever !
