I got a new computer and the flippin' floppy don't work!
The device manager says its ok, it works on other
computers, it just won't detect a disk when I put it in,
and the busy light stays on constantly.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and it still
don't work?!?!!?

Help please!

I had this same problem once. The cable from the motherboard floppy
controller to the floppy drive was connected upside down on the drive. So I
pulled the cable from the drive, turned it over, pushed it back in, and
started up and everything worked fine.
So maybe you have the cable installed wrong, either at the floppy drive
like I did, or on the motherboard....

Hi Furry Monster -

Sure you have the floppy data cable plugged in correctly? Having it plugged
in backward will cause the light to remain constantly lit.
