How do you know? Does it show in the device manager? Does
the BIOS say it is there, will it boot the computer?
Have you looked inside to be sure that all the power and
data cables are properly attached?
I had a Dell that didn't have a floppy installed. I
installed one and had to go into the BIOS to have the
system recognize the floppy. It worked fine after this.
