Floppy Drive Problems

I installed XP Home a week ago. Ever since I did that, my
computer is constantly trying to access the a: drive
(floppy). That whirring sound is very annoying but it also
is slowing things down. Does anyone know why this is
happening? Thanks for any help.

Click on Kelly's link below. Choose "F" and scroll down to "floppy drive
is active".
