I still have some students bringing in floppys from home and some counselors
also keep files on floppys. I used to use "Anadisk" , a public domain
program for fixing broken disks and useing it to get files off the disks.
However, i can't use the program on my XP workstation and i would like to
get the old workstation running windows 98 to be replaced. Does anyone have
a recommendation for a program for floppy disk analyzing? Thanks, charlie

Yes, i have tried setting all the dos settings to win95, win98 etc. No help
with it. Fortunately i didn't through out one of the Win98 machines and use
that, even if cumbersome... charlie

I was wondering if you clicked on the icon "right click", properties,
compatibility Tab and then setting the compatibility to win98

Hello,

Thanks for your post.

I understand you want to find a tool which can analyze floppy disk.

It seems that Anadisk you mentioned is a program can exam and fix some
problems on the floppy disk and duplicate the disk etc. I would like
provide some information to you, however, there is no built-in tool to
achieve the goal as Anadisk can provide, and I have researched and found
the following tools might be helpful to you. For your reference, I listed
the following link:

The program named RECOVER Floppy Pro v1.0. For more information, please
