Floating toolbar and floating comment?

I found this nifty invoice template that has a couple of very
interesting features. It has a floating toolbar with custom icons on
it and a large cell at the bottom that when you click into it, shows a
box with a floating comment. The floating comment seems much better
than the regular type of comment that a lot of users seem to miss.

The vb coding is restricted, however, with a password so I can't see
behind the scenes to how all this is set up. What are we looking for
when doing something similar, pls? I'd like to search on the net for
instructions on setting these two types of things up.

Thanks. :blush:D

The comment sounds like an "Input Message" which can be set up through [Data]
then [Validation] on the main menu, see the [Input Message] tab.

The floating toolbar in code is called a CommandBar > check VBA help and
search this forum for lots of example code.

Perfect. That was it. I never realized that data validation was so

Darn, wish I could see what the code is in this invoice example I have. But
it's neat to know what to look for now. I'll just have to hunt around for
examples.

Thanks so much.

It did, thanks!
