Flash WMode in PowerPoint

Is ActiveX control WMode "Transparent" supported in PowerPoint for SWF
objects embedded? This WMode option is available in controls but I cannot get
the SWF to render correctly with transparency like in HTML.
 
Thank you, Shyam. Much obliged for this valuable response. Wouldn't it be
appropriate that PowerPoint developers removed this WMode "Transparent"
parameter option in ShockwaveFlash > Custom > Properties? The option presence
in the PowerPoint app creates nothing but confusion. IMHO.
