Flash scripts embeded in Messages

I send out a newsletter created in WORD. I have embedded a Flash script in
the newsletter. In Word, the flash "movie" plays as designed. Security is
set properly for ActiveX controls to allow the Flash script in Outlook. I
include the Flash "movie" as an attachment along with the newsletter. To
test, I sent the message to myself. The message is received, ActiveX allows
the flash script, and the "borders" for the Flash "movie" appear in the
newsletter - but, when opening the message, the Flash "movie" will not play,
and all Flash "controls" are grayed-out. I'm using Office Pro 2003 (with
Word and Outlook). Any ideas?

No idea if this will be of any help, but where is the movie hosted? Is it on
your local machine or on the web? Also is the path to your movie set up to
look on your local machine or the web? Give it a try by uploading the movie
and then using the specific path to it eg
http//www.yourhost.com/yourmovie.swf and see if that gives you any better
results.

Thank you for your response - it's appreciated! I've tried your suggestion
(a good one, by the way) with the exact same results. The Flash script is
both on my local drive and a remote internet site. I've tried both the local
drive and the remote site location as the source for the Flash script. I
send the file in Outlook to myself, as a test. The message is delivered in
Outllook, ActiveX is set to allow the Flash script. When I open the message
there is no Flash display, ( but the "outline" of where the Flash display
should be is visible ), and when I click on the movie the Flash controls are
grayed-out.
