Flash Memory Not Recognized

L

Larry

I have a San Disk 256Mg flash memory stick.
(Cruzor Mirco).

It works fine on both of my home machines,
It works fine on my work machine,
It works fine on some machines here at work,

On some machines here at work it does not work

All machines have Win XP Pro, Service Pack 2.

The machine here at work that it does not work on
is the same as all the other machines here at work.

The machine, here at work that it does not work on,
will take other flash memory sticks (even San Disk cruzur Micro ones),
But not my flash memory stick.

When It is plugged into the machine that it does not work
on, the blue light on the memory stick lights up,
But the stick is no where to be found in my computer.

Thank you for any help you can give me,

Hello Laurence,

Thank you for contacting SanDisk Technical Support

Connect the Cruzer Mini, Right-click on My Computer, click on Manage,
click on Disk Management which is on the left portion of the window,
then on the right side you will see a split window, look at the bottom
half you will find Disk1, Disk 2, Disk 3.............One of them should
say Removable and show approximately the size of the Cruzer Mini. When
you see it just right-click on it and click "Change Drive letter and
Path", click change on the next window, and then choose another letter
that is not in use.

Best Regards,
