Flash In PowerPower Point - Sound Plays Before I Get To Slide

Thanks to anyone that can help with this issue:

I successfully embedded two separate Flash files into a PowerPoint
file. They play well visually, however, the sound in the files start
immediately when I open the presentation. Given that the two files
feature two differents songs, it's a really headache!

What I'm looking to do is this: have the Flash file load/play when the
slide they're embedded in appears, not before and not after. Any help
with this would be much appreciated so I don't get overlapping music
issues!

I think Shyam Pillai has posted about this in the past and said to put the
sound on the 2nd frame in the Flash file.

ISTR that's what the solution was, anyway.

If you are using swf files try the free Swiff Point Player:

http://www.globfx.com/products/swfpoint/

I only have it installed when I need to use it because it breaks a couple of
things in PowerPoint XP & 03 but nothing too serious. Otherwise, it's a great
tool and makes inserting very easy......TD

Not exactly sure of a proper workaround for this. But one way I could think
of is to insert the song into powerpoint instead of inserting in the flash.
The drawback is that the song may not start on the exact timing each time you
start the slide show.
See if others have a better suggestion on this one.

Yes. The workaround though was originally posted by one of the non-regulars
who came up with that approach. I've always recommended it since almost all
users I've known have met success using the suggested workaround.
