flash drive and disk management services

I have a flash drive , that had an error I attempted to format it, and it's
no longer visible , so I checked disk management (or tried to) it control
panel just keep saying connecting to disk management service, it never loads,
any suggestions?

Never mind, I found some post which described how to resolve this issue, I
can read my flash drive again, thanks to those wonderful learned people
who
are willing to help another.

so...WTF did you do??? Just in case someone else has the same problem.
