Fix the width of a dropdown list?

Hi..

I want to set the width of a dropdown list to be less than the width of the
data displayed in the DDL..

Can this be done?

Not sure. Atleast as long as we are on html emitting and browsers rendering
just html, i would be surprised.
Might be possible with IE (they do understand inline css) but not very sure
bout NS or any non MS browser
