Fix For HP-932C?

C

I have an HP-932C printer which works in most respects with
my Vista Ultimate 64-bit computer. One of the functions on
the printer that is apparently not supported by HP (meaning
it doesn't plan to update the drivers to make it work) is
the ability to select part of a document and have only the
selection printed. The printer prints the whole document
even when a selection is highlighted, and "print selection"
indicated.

Does anyone know of a easy fix for this? I'd prefer not to
buy a new printer. Currently, as a work-around, I'm copying
the selections to a word document, and then printing it, but
I'd sure like an easier way.

Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge that is very much a function of the printer
driver so you are stuck with what you have.....

I was happy to have an excuse to replace my HP DJ722C despite it being
one of the best they ever made with a PS8250 although that has been
replaced by now. The Vivera 6 ink tanks and duplex printing (manual
duplexing comes with the printer; automatic is an optional add-om).
