In Word 2003 there was a really good tool named "Fix Broken Text" in Tools
menu.
It is very practical, cause I work with some russian sites and firms, and
the copied text is often broken with some signs, that it is not possible to
understand.
I now have upgraded to Office 2007, and I can not find such a function. In
Msdn, I have found info, that this function was not supported further in
program, but would be available on Office Web Site.
I only found information, that in order to have this function back, I should
install "broken fonts add-in that ships in Office 2003. I didnot find
anything about this on the Office site. The only add-in for broken fonts is
an Office 2000 add-in named "eefonts" (
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/260162/fr ) . But this add-in
can not be installed without having Office 2000 installed on computer.
Such an add-in for Office 2003 I did not find on Office site, on Microsoft
site, on the Internet. Would anyone know where I could find it?
Thank you very much by advance for your help!!
