Are you looking on how to get there?
<File> <PageSetUp> <Page> tab,
When you click on "Fit To 1 Page Wide",
Make sure you delete anything in the "Tall" box, so that it's empty.

When using Page Scaling, I want to force the pages wide to 1 and use as many
pages as necessary for length.
Simon, this is from the Excel 2003 help (emphasis mine):
Select the Fit to check box [on the Page tab, Page Setup dialog box], enter
a number in the page(s) wide by box, and enter a number in the tall box. *To
fill the paper width and use as many pages as necessary, type 1 in the
pages(s) wide by box and leave the tall box blank.*

My Problem is that sometimes the fit does not use the whole page width efficiently, if I use zoom I can get the zoom to be a higher %, without going over one page wide. This is fine for times when I can visually check prior to printing, but when setting the pagesetup through a macro I need it to be dynamic incase the number of columns increase in quantiy or size, my page wouldn't fit anymore if I strickly used zoom
I have thought of programitically adding up the column width of the columns that will print then determining a necessary zoom - but this seems like the hard way
