Hi,
I am having a problem with a Database that I created. some users have a
resolution of 800 x 600 however the database windows does not fit onto the
screen and the user has to use scolll bar.
is there any programming that I can enter that checks the users resolution
and tells the database to fit withing this resolution

Thank you,

Neil

I first encountered this problem back in the day when 15" monitors were
standard and 800 x 600. The solution then was to restrict my form sizes to
17cm x 12 cm. This isn't a bad approach as it forces all involved to think
about layout and data structure. However, there's a good section on
automatically resizing forms on pg621of the Access 2000 Developer's Handbook,
Volume 1by Getz, Litwin, & Gilbert published by Sybex. It's probably been
reproduced in the Access 2003 edition. Obviously I can't reproduce it here,
but it's well worth getting the book anyway if your doing lots of development
work.

Regards

Ian
