first time user of bluetooth - question?

Hi there,

This is what i'm trying to achieve:

I have a PDA enabled bluetooth, and mobile phone with bluetooth enabled.
What i ideally want to do is to press a button on my form, and
programatically connect to the internet, via the bluetooth connection
between the pda and mobile (eg. via GPRS on mobile.)

Can anyone point me in the right direction, and also if i should use the
32feet.net library in order to achieve this?

Any small code example appreciated as this is first bluetooth attempt for
me.

Hi,

32feet.net library written by Peter Foot works really well and the more
importante, it is free ;-)

I think it does only support connecting to devices with Microsoft
Bluetooth Stack.

For example, HP and Dell use Widcomm Bluetooth Stack, which is
different, therefore, you can't use Peter's library. But I think Dell's
new devices bring for now on Microsoft Bluetooth Stack and HP will also
follow this way.

If your device uses Widcomm Bluetooth Stack, you can directly buy the
API from Widcomm (really expensive and hard to make it work I suppose),
but there are some pay libraries you can download and try with:

thanks for your help, for your information, i'm developing for a HP 6340
(problematic PDA that keeps freezing and hard resetting when someone uses
the phone) so maybe best i look at a different device which has the
Microsoft support.
