First Step

Hi,

My new PC with Win.Vista will be delivered shortly, and presumably my first
step with it should be getting it on a Broadband to get access to the
Internet. I have secured a Vista compatible driver as a download onto a CD
from my ISP. I am not sure whether inserting that CD into the dual WR/DVD
drawer will allow me to open the CD (without any other software installed)
and install the driver? Or is there another way to proceed with the
Broadband's driver installation?

If Vista recognizes your drive with its default drivers, it should work.
Alternatives--use a usb thumb drive.

Many thanks for the suggestion.
