first slide to loop

Is there any way to get the first slide of the presentation to loop until I
am ready to begin my presentation? The first slide has several annimations,
and I need the entire slide and all animations to loop in sequience over and
over until the audience is seated and I am ready to begin the presentation.

Hi Kate,

You can sort of do this using a linked 2 slide looping presentation. You
need the second slide to reset the animations from the first one, but it
does not have to show (well, it will very briefly flash on the screen). Set
this two slide presentation to loop until escape.

Then from the main show, link to this looping presentation.
