hello

I have a pc in a domain and i want disable firewall but impossible.
i have a message : "few parameters are controled by gpo".
i am "local admin" of my pc.
how to disable the firewall?

Domain membership restricts access to certain things unless you are
a Domain Admin. Local Admin ( PC ) is not the same level of rights
and privileges. A Group Policy is likely in effect that prevents changing
the Firewall state.

Then you'd use the Group Policy editor to modify ( or check ) the rules
in effect for the domain user group.
Click Start, Run ( type ) GPEdit.Msc [Enter]

Well, as your network administrator has apparently set a group policy
so you cannot compromise the security of the network for which he's
responsible, I'd suggest that you ask him.

hello

it is ok. if I put my computer in an ou which does not have gpo, i can
disable my firewall.
