Firewall - unable to "disable"

Guest

I have 2 laptops with XP SP2, joined to the company domain. My win server
2003 SBE group policy allows client to enable\disable the firewall. Problem
is I am not able to do so for these 2 laptops (the options is greyed off with
"enabled" been selected). Also there is a statement at the bottom of the
dialog box that says "Windows firewall is using your non-domain settings".
How can I enable the selection ?

My other computers allow me the select the option and has the statement
"Windows firewall is using your domain settings"

Pls help.

Thanks & Happy New Year

Try running gpresult in a command prompt (or start | run | rsop.msc) and
also look for errors in your event logs.
Might want to post in microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs for more help with
this.

Note - I suggest you leave the firewall enabled at all times, whether on or
off the LAN. You can set up exceptions as needed....
