firewall options greyed out-

Guest

i am unable to control the firewall via the control panel. i get "for your
security, some settings are controlled by
group policy" and the radio buttons are greyed out

i can address the exceptions and i can change if the firewall is on or off
using the group policy editor, but i cannot do this at all in the control
panel option. i would love to know how to turn this on. i know the
administrator has controlled this, but i prefer to able to run this myself

thanks

Your computer is joined to a domain and the domain administrator has decided
to control certain settings through group policy. You can't override these
settings locally.
