Subject: Firewall on Windows Server

Hi, I have just installed a software firewall on my server (Sygate), and I now get messgaes of application trying to connect to my server. I do not know what these applications are and if I should allow them, can anybody help me?
The applications are:
1. NT Kernal & System
2. Generic Host for Win32 Services

The firewall shows the applications path, should I allow applications that their path is in Windows?

I dont think NT Kernal & System is nessasery (should conferm this with
some one else) how ever Generic Host for Win32 Services is nessasery
for windows file sharing and other microsoft related protacalls, so if
your running a AD you should alow that one (for for local network
only), and (to avoid problems) alow the other one aswell (NT Kernal &
System) but only for local network.
