Firewall deactivation

After installing SP2, I have been experiencing problems
(unable to complete Ad Aware, Windows Media does not
work). Some one suggested turning the Firewall off. How
do I do this? LG

I do not recommend turning off the Firewall unless you have another 3rd party
firewall in place.
