Finally got the second computer to print but it will only do so if I disable
the norton Internet security and the Norton antivirus. Any suggestions? I
have a Belkin Router. Do I need to establish its firewall (not sure if it
has one)? As you can tell I have no clue about this stuff.
Thanks

You should definitely use a gateway appliance with a built-in firewall, not
just NAT alone. If your Belkin doesn't have one, check out NetGear FR114P or
similar (that one's about $80/USD).

I recommend this even if you are also using software firewalls on the
workstations. With regard to your NIS, you need to check with its included
help, or the symantec website, on what to open up for file/print sharing on
your LAN.
