firewall activity

recently i noticed my screen saver kept being interupted, a brick in the task
bar would appear whilst this happened, i had a look in my zone alarm firewall
and there appears to be something called a generic host that runs at certan
intervals making the screen saver go off, what is this and can i stop it from
interupting my screen saver?

Can you please post a ZoneAlarm FireWall log snippet showing this activity.

I don't know, I don't use ZoneAlarm but it is the LOG snippet (snippet - exceprt of data
specific to the problem) that is needed to ascertain the situation.
