Firefox-strange behavior with scroll bar?

Since most of the other threads are either about loading time,
extensions, or flame wars, I will ask here.

Firefox 1.5 seems to be pretty good, and I am doing the extension
thing ok....but one idiosyncrasy I have never seen before is that the
scroll bars are not there unless I hit F11 and go to full screen! It's
not exactly a major problem, as it is still possible to scroll with
the arrows, but what the heck? Anyone else?

(And it does have F7, "Caret browsing" for selecting text...scroll and
hit enter when you come to a URL. Can be useful on some pages...)

I've seen some reports of scroll bars being missing someone on the
Mozillazine forums, possibly with a fix or at least explanation. It might
be worth searching them to see what you can find. It could also be on one
of the "Sticky" posts as a known issue.

I believe one of them was a problem with third-party themes, try switching
to the default theme.
