Firefox question

For some reason, when I save images from the web, it defaults to something
like:

image.jpg.jpeg

How do I get rid of that jpeg extension?

Its the original file name, take a random image from google images which has
a .jpg extension and DO NOT type the extension when saving and see if that
helps.

Problem solved. Via explorer I located and deleted the file type 'jpeg.'
Everything working fine now. . .
