FIRE WALL PROBLEMS

I HAVE WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL AND WITH THE FIRE WALL ON
I CAN CONNECT TO THE INTERNET BUT ARE UNABLE TO OPEN ANY
WEB PAGES. WITH THE FIRE WALL OFF I HAVE NO PROBLEMS.
COULD YOU HELP ME PLEASE.I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY COMP
PROTECTED WITH A FIRE WALL. I HAVE VERY BASIC KNOWLEDGE
ABOUT COMPUTERS.

It sounds as though your firewall has some settings, and you have them set
to the max.
 
In Outlook Express, go to Tools, Options, Security,
click for the Internet Zone, Less secure, but more functional.

Also, please do not type all in Caps, it is considered shouting, and is
harder to read.
