Two alternatives:

1. Go to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks. Then File > Export (or Import).
Easy as pie

2. Use MozBackup:
http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
It also backs up Thunderbird settings - which is a real bonus.

I always just go to my profile directory and copy the bookmarks.html
file, then use the copy to overwrite the bookmarks.html file in the
other Firefox. With XP, the file is located here:

"C:\Documents and Settings\(user account)\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(this part varied from computer to
computer).default\bookmarks.html"

I don't reply to trolls like Andy Mabbett, Doc (who uses sock puppets)
or Roger Johansson, for instance. No adware, cdware, commercial
software, crippleware, demoware, nagware, PROmotionware, shareware,
spyware, time-limited software, trialware, viruses or warez for me, please.

Why not open a free account at http://del.icio.us/ and put your
bookmarks online so they can be easily accessed from any computer?

Thank you Mark & John
That did the trick

Two alternatives:

(at least) Three
1. Go to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks. Then File > Export (or Import).
Easy as pie

2. Use MozBackup:

It also backs up Thunderbird settings - which is a real bonus.

3. go into your profiles folder and look for "bookmarks.html". Copy
this file to the other installation.

4. Use the extension "Bookmark Synchronizer" from
http://www.trasduzione.com/bmsync/ . That works with an online server,
usually FTP, so you need some webspace or alike.

And provide my "likes" for more spammers.

How could having your bookmarks online at del.icio.us possibly result
in spam? You can register with any fabricated username you like, and
although you must provide an email address during registration, it does
not appear anywhere the public has access, and del.icio.us is eminently
trustworthy.
