Fineprint is a printer driver that allows you to print multiple pages on
a single sheet and do booklet and double-sided printing when your
printer does bnot support this functionality.
Depends on what you want out of FinePrint, since it does a few different
things. If you're looking for "N-up" printing, PrintFile will do this,
although with some peculiarities.
It will print N pages of text per page, according to your specifications. I
have noticed PrintFile will split words across lines in some instances, but
I can print perfectly readable text at two pages per sheet. You can do this
with text files, naturally, and also with Postscript files, about which I've
no clue.
I believe FinePrint will use the native font sets of dot matrix printers;
PrintFile won't do this.
It's called TxtPrint. It was developed for programmers originally and works
fine for TXT files too. I think I like it better than PrintFile. Get it
quick, the author is taking it down.
