Search for winword.exe. You'll have to tell Windows Explorer to search
"hidden and system files and folders" to find it. When you find it,
right-click and choose Create Shortcut. It will tell you it can't create the
shortcut in the search results folder and ask if you want it on the Desktop.
Say yes.
