Finding path of ole objects

D

Deborah

I have an old db that someone else made and am trying to
track down where the ole objects are getting stored. I
tried the MS article "ACC2000: How to retrieve the path
for Linked OLE objects" but keep getting an error message
on the first line of "type mismatch" (even though the type
is a string to a variant, go figure). Are there any other
ways to find the path?

Thanks

Deborah

It will usually improve your chances of getting a good answer if you ask a
detailed, specific question that does not require the responder to look up
or search out a reference (though it is a good idea to include the
reference, just in case they need/want more than your included snippet of
code). Many of us just do not have the time to do the "research" of looking
up a reference in order to provide an answer.

Other good suggestions for effective use of newsgroups can be found at
